Groups needed at Camp Baker this summer!

Join us at SOAR365 during Summer Camp!

SOAR365 creates life-fulfilling opportunities for individuals with disabilities, annually serving over 1,700 people and their families. Founded in 1954, SOAR365 is an organization created by families, for families, an organization that has grown to provide a continuum of programs and services for individuals with disabilities across their lifespan. 

We're seeking volunteer groups to assist us this summer! Each week, campers prep for our weekly Talent Show and we utiize awesome groups to help us cheer them on! This is a perfect opportunity for companies, civic organizations, church teams, and more!  Prior to beginning, you will attend a short training on working with individuals with disabilities and we can help you feel ready for a fun event. We can promise that whether you've worked directly with individuals with disabilities before or not, you will have a BLAST!

Because this volunteer shift requires working directly with our participants with disabilities and asks volunteers to be ready to take charge and jump in where needed, we ask that all volunteers in the group be 16 and older, unless coming with a parent.

Schedule:

• Thursdays: We're looking for groups to help support our Talent Show! This need is from 3-5 PM.

Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:

• Ideal candidate: fun, engaging, and excited to jump in!
• Training: We'll do a brief overview of what to expect at the event upon arrival. You do not need to have any prior experience!
