As the COVID-19 epidemic and its economic fallout roll across Sonoma Valley, there are enormous needs arising every day. Sonoma Valley needs a whole new volunteer force! Most of Sonoma Valley’s legendary volunteer force has been older people. Now, when our Valley urgently needs an army of volunteers to help address critical needs for food and assistance, people over 65 need to avoid being out with other people. 

To meet the need for volunteers, Sonoma Valley’s organizations—governments, businesses, and nonprofits—are coming together with a new website and social media campaign called Sonoma Valley Volunteers. Go to sonomavalleyvolunteers.org to find volunteer opportunities in Sonoma Valley.
