About this Opportunity
The ReStore in Hanover County sells new and used donated materials at a discounted rate. All proceeds help build affordable homes and make critical repairs in Hanover and King William Counties through Hanover and King William Habitat for Humanity. Volunteering in the store is a great way to give back to your community and support Habitat's vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live!
Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
The ReStore needs volunteers to help organize, inspect, and clean incoming merchandise!
Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
Tasks include inspecting donations, cleaning and pricing incoming items, straightening and cleaning displays, and providing assistance to customers.
Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
Time Commitment:
The ReStore is open Monday through Saturday, weekly, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
We ask for at least a 4-hour shift commitment of either 9:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

- Expressing Interest online at cfengage does not ensure a shift with Habitat. Volunteers must sign up through the online portal to guarantee a spot.
