Qurbani Distribution | Astoria NY | July 2025

***Attention Blueshirts!!! It's Qurbani season and we need YOUR help!***

On Tuesday, July 1, Islamic Relief USA will be working with Malikah to help with Qurbani distribution. They will be receiving halal meat for distribution from Islamic Relief USA and will be doing special outreach to the local community for this distribution and we will need Blueshirts to help us!

Volunteer Tasks may include:
- Assist with the halal meat distribution
- Loading and Off-Loading Meat from truck 
- Drive Up and Walk Up assistance 
- Registration of Clients Assistance

*Volunteers will need to be able to lift 10-20 pounds of meat

Date: Tuesday, July 1st

Shift Time: 1pm-4pm

Address: Malikah, 25-61 Steinway St, Astoria, NY 11103, USA

**Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift so that you can check-in and be ready.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
- If you or someone you live with is considered high risk, please consider volunteering in person at a later date.
- If you are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID, please cancel or let your volunteer coordinator know (even if it is the morning of the project).
