About this Opportunity

Grocery shopping shifts take place as-needed, and involve utilizing a JFS credit card to shop for groceries at local stores, and then transport items to clients' homes. Coordination is required with Refugee & Immigrant Services case management team out of Kent office.

Volunteers support our Refugee Resettlement clients by purchasing bulk groceries and toiletry items, and delivering them to families' homes. Volunteer shifts are scheduled as-needed, and coordinated on an ad-hoc basis with case management staff. When scheduled, shifts last around 4 hours in total. Requested length of service: 3 months+
