It’s game time, Skyhawks! NMDP is teaming up with the Fort Lewis College Football Team for a Get In The Game (GITG) tabling event—and we’re calling on student-athletes and fans alike to step up and make a life-saving play.

Get In The Game is all about teamwork, strength, and showing up when it matters most. At our table, you’ll learn how a quick and easy cheek swab can put you in the game for patients battling blood cancers and blood disorders who are waiting for their perfect match through the NMDP Registry.

💪 Athletes know the power of preparation and commitment—and joining the registry is one way to use those strengths off the field to make a real impact.

🌟 Volunteer Roles Include:

• Engaging teammates and students in conversations about NMDP’s mission

• Explaining how blood stem cell donation works and why diversity in the registry matters

• Assisting individuals through the simple cheek swab registration process

• Bringing team spirit, leadership, and encouragement to the event

Each year, thousands of patients diagnosed with blood cancers like leukemia or lymphoma depend on finding a matching donor for a second chance at life. For more than 30 years, NMDP has managed the world’s most diverse marrow registry—connecting patients with the life-saving donors they need.
