The Walk to End Alzheimer's is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research. Families facing Alzheimer's and all other dementia need us now more than ever. With a goal of raising over $450,000 it takes a strong committee all year to make this event happen here in Sonoma & Marin counties. We are looking for Committee members to help us promote the event and fundraising efforts, and make it an even better and bigger success this year. We are looking for volunteers to assist with community engagement efforts including but not limited to recruiting new teams, engaging with local businesses, recognizing donors and fundraisers, and building public awareness through media outlets. We meet virtually on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm but attendance is not required to help fill a role - whether it be postings on social media, phoning past teams/participants, reaching out to companies for sponsorships and so much more - every little bit helps.
