About this Opportunity
Join PP&R and Westside Watershed Resource Center to help improve habitat at this important natural area that Fanno Creek runs through.
During each event we will either be removing English ivy or planting native plants. at this Portland Parks & Recreation natural area that Fanno Creek runs through on its way to the Tualatin River. This is a great way to connect with nature and make a difference. We will be working on uneven ground, so please wear closed toed, sturdy shoes and weather appropriate clothing. Tools, gloves, instruction, and refreshments will be provided!
Children 10+ are welcome, if accompanied by an attentive adult. Youth 16+ may attend independently with parent permission. Please note that the short path to where we will be working is a little steep.
Accessibility: This event will require bending over and walking on uneven surfaces. Please note: there is a short, steep, and narrow section of the trail to get to the site.
