About this Opportunity
Aloha All!
Please come and join us at the 43rd Annual Okinawan Festival held at the Hawai'i Convention center on August 30th and 31st. This will be a phenominal event! Explore Okinawan culture with displays, demos, and hands-on fun. Enjoy Shimakutuba, unique crafts, and kimono's. Explore 19,000 historical records and uncover your family history plus fun games, prizes and a keiki store. Enjoy specialty foods from Okinawa, like konbu, goya-cha (bitter melon tea), and much more!
Why are volunteers important: Volunteers are vital to the life-saving work of NMDP. With your help, we can add potential donors to the registry. Your time has a real impact on the lives of patients and their families.
As always, if you are not able to make the entire time of the shift that is ok! Please let us know, we greatly appreciate any time that you are able to attend.
If you have any questions please call Shane at 808.766-0588 or email at [email protected]
