About this Opportunity
The Food Bank currently distributes food to more than 800,000 people each month. In order to reach these many people, the Food Bank relies on the support of volunteers who inspect, sort, and pack donated food before it goes out for distribution. The Food Sorter/Packer will help assemble food packages inside our distribution center for over 27,000 low income seniors, women with infants, and children in Los Angeles County. Time Commitment: 4 hours per week. 4-8 hours a week for 4 months. Tuesday - Friday 9 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 3:30 pm.
