Help us keep our park clean!

Join volunteers as we remove litter and debris from the Riverwalk at Delaware Seashore State Park, putting litter in its place and making the walkway a safe and accessible experience for thousands of users! Tools and gloves are available to share.

 

Accommodations: Wheelchair users and those with mobility aid devices are welcome to join us for these weekly litter pick ups. We have a few modalities to pick up litter including gloves, 12" tongs and 32" litter grabbers. Litter pick ups take place across multiple terrain types including asphalt and sidewalks.

Written Directions

Coming from the North:  Cross over the bridge and take the first right off the highway. Follow down that road until you can turn right and pass under the bridge. Once on the other side, turn left towards the fee booth. After booth park to the right.

Coming from the South:  Take the last right before the bridge and continue down that road. Turn right towards the booth. After booth park to the right. 

Entering the Park

If applicable, please notify the fee booth attendant you are on-site for a volunteer project. If needed, Volunteer Staff will provide a parking pass upon your arrival to the meeting location to place in your car. 

 

10:00 AM to 10:15 AM Introductions, Safety Briefing, Distribute Equipment 10:15 AM to 11:45 AM Complete project! 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM Return equipment, debrief on experience. 12:00 PM Group picture!

 

PARENTAL SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED FOR ANYONE UNDER 18.
