About this Opportunity
Opportunity Overview:
The Trustees is seeking individuals with wildlife habitat experience to help educate our visitors about the various bird habitats on Martha’s Vineyard. As a Shore Bird Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to share your love of our special birds that call Martha’s Vineyard home while educating our visitors on the need to protect our most vulnerable inhabitants. The Trustees has long identified the management of suitable habitat for shore birds as a key goal but has also found it challenging to balance the needs of shore birds with the unique environment of Martha’s Vineyard. Shore Bird Ambassadors will be stationed at several gatehouses across the island and will be provided the opportunity to speak with visitors and answering their questions.
