About this Opportunity
Drivers are needed to deliver meals to residents of North Nashville on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Details: -Meals are pre-packaged -Easy routes -Put a smile on the face of those who are not able to get out -Opportunity to make an impact on a person and pray with them -Help spread the word about classes and other events offered by Healing Minds and Souls
Requirements: -Must have a car/truck/van -Must be willing to wear a mask as needed -Must wear a SMILE! Volunteers will pick up food from First Community Church, and then be assigned a delivery route. If you are volunteering with another person or a group, please sign up for one slot per vehicle, rather than per person. This ensures we have enough drivers to cover our routes. First Community Church-Healing Minds and Souls vision continues to be dedicated to Releasing the Generational Blessings. Deuteronomy 28:2.
For us this spiritual vision includes community involvement, healing and restoration of our families-minds and souls. Our goals are to address and work to heal the issues plaguing the community. To help disconnected and vulnerable men, women, and their families build relationships with others who will encourage and guide them, providing assistance when needed, educating and equipping them for the challenges each day brings, and celebrating every victory along the way.
