Islamic Relief USA

Islamic Relief USA is calling on our Blueshirts to help at our upcoming School Kit and Hygiene Kit Assemblies to later be distributed at our signature Day of Dignity event! We need our blueshirts to assist with packaging 10,000 kits for our local neighbors in need. We need your help to make this a success!

Tasks May Include:

- Building boxes with tape
- Handling small items
- Packing items into boxes
- Paletizing boxes
- Preparing boxes and kits for delivery and pick up
- Lifting and handling 30 pound boxes

Where: Springfield Warehouse, 6820 Commercial Drive, Springfield, VA 22151

When: *7 SHIFTS*

Sunday, July 20th: ONE SET UP SHIFT | 11 AM - 2PM

Saturday, July 26th
Shift 1: Hygiene Kit Assembly | 10 AM - 1 PM
Shift 2: Hygiene Kit Assembly | 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM 

Sunday, July 27th
Shift 3: Hygiene Kit Assembly | 10 AM - 1 PM
Shift 4: Winter Kit Assembly | 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Saturday, August 2nd
Shift 1: Winter Kit Assembly | 10 AM - 1 PM
Shift 2: School Kit Assembly | 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

- Age Restriction: If you are planning to bring a child under the age of 13 please email the coordinator listed below so that your child may be listed as a guest (capacity permitting).

Additional Information:
- IRUSA shirts will be provided at the event, please select your shirt size when signing up for this event. They are short sleeves so please plan accordingly. 

Do not attend a volunteer project if in the last 7 days you have:
Interacted with anyone who had or has COVID-19
Had a fever
Have experienced symptoms that could be related to COVID-19
Have had COVID-19
