CO - CSU Band Presentation

Volunteer with NMDP at the CSU Bands Presentation! 🎶💙
 

NMDP is excited to partner with Kappa Kappa Psi for a special presentation to the Colorado State University Bands. We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help share our mission, connect with students, and inspire the next generation of potential lifesavers.
 

📍 Location: Griffin Concert Hall, Colorado State University
📅 Date: September 23, 2026
⏰ Time: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Music has the power to bring people together—and so does a shared commitment to making a difference. During this presentation, band members will learn how joining the NMDP Registry can give patients with blood cancers and blood disorders a second chance at life. Volunteers will help create a welcoming environment, answer questions, and assist eligible students through the quick and easy cheek swab registration process.

This is a unique opportunity to partner with one of CSU's most spirited organizations and help students discover how they can make an impact beyond the concert hall.

🌟 Volunteer Roles Include:

• Welcoming and engaging with band members before and after the presentation

• Assisting with presentation setup and event logistics

• Sharing how the NMDP Registry works and why donor diversity matters

• Guiding eligible students through the simple registration process

• Answering questions and encouraging students to get involved with NMDP's mission

Each year, thousands of patients diagnosed with blood cancers like leukemia or lymphoma depend on finding a matching donor for a second chance at life. For more than 30 years, NMDP has managed the world's most diverse marrow registry—connecting patients with the cures they need.
