Volunteer Orientation (In-Person)

Who should sign-up for this?: Volunteer orientations are the first step in getting involved with Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta! All new volunteers including Friends & Family and individual volunteers should sign-up for one.

Where does this take place?: Locations will vary. Further instructions regarding parking and accessing the building will be provided by Volunteer Services once you have signed-up for an orientation.

At an orientation you'll learn:

• What kinds of volunteer opportunities are available

• The work of Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta

• What a typical volunteer shift looks like

• Safety overview 

• How to sign-up for shifts and next steps

The session is about 1 hour, including time for Q&A.
