Fonticello Park Native Meadow Maintenance

Brief Organizational Description: 
The Friends of Fonticello Park are honoring the history of the park, while creating a safe, welcoming and nourishing outdoor space for our community and neighbors. Check us out at https://fonticelloparkrva.com/ 

Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
Volunteers will be helping to weed and mulch a native meadow planted on the site of the old tennis courts last fall. Please help us to support this space!

None required

Time Commitment:

9:00-11:00 AM

Other Information:

• Meet at the corner of Perry and W. 29th St 
• Street parking is available.
• Park neighbors are highly encouraged to sign up, since you can walk!
• Tools will be provided
• Dress accordingly. Wear closed toed shoes and sun protection if needed. 
• Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
