Board Member Officers

The Welcome Home Association is actively looking to fill Board Members Officer vacancies. If you have a background in Marketing, Event Planning, Administration Accounting and Finance, Law or high demand Client Services please inquire. 

Board Member Officers Needed:

• Chair: Presides, creates an effective agenda in coordination with the Director, assigns chairs, POC-point of contact, sets goals and objectives, attendance is accounted for.
• Vice Chair: Prepares to assume office of chair, fulfills the Chair duties in their absence, assists board Chair in his or her duties, serves on committees to learn operations, will work closely with board Chair.
• ​Treasurer:Reconciles bank accounts and financial statements which are present at board meetings, ensures tax related paperwork and legal forms are filed on time, this person is also the CFO, manages board reviews and actions of its financial responsibilities, prepping financial budget and presenting it to the board, reviews annual audit.

Learn about us: The Welcome Home Association is a very new startup non profit organization that is primarily support based and specifically focuses on foster care and adoption. TWHA aims to break walls, aid children and families and heal system damages. 
The Welcome Home Association will maintain its financial standing through donations, grants and funding. It is crucial that our staff and volunteers believe in what The Welcome Home Association is aiming to achieve with its work. The day to day staff will receive adequate training that is required and needed to make the organization successful. All the while continuously asking the question “How can I help?” and to make The Welcome Home Association feel like a home within their own hearts.

Mission Statement: Helping to provide and extend an “at home” feeling within our walls for adopted and foster children as well as their parents, foster parents and families through our professional internal and external resources in St. Louis and surrounding areas
