 Brewing Up Business – Monthly Networking Events

The Tennessee Pride Chamber connects and empowers LGBTQ+ professionals and allies across the state. Through monthly networking mixers like Brewing Up Business, we create inclusive spaces for business owners, entrepreneurs, and community members to build authentic relationships that strengthen our local economy.

Volunteers help us set the tone of hospitality and inclusion by welcoming attendees and getting them checked in quickly and easily. It’s a light lift — but it makes a big impact.

Available Volunteer Role

• Greeter & Check-In Volunteer
  • Time: Approx. 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM 
  • Overview: Help welcome attendees to our monthly Brewing Up Business networking event. You’ll manage check-in and create a warm, friendly experience for everyone walking in.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Greet attendees as they arrive
    • Check off names on the RSVP list or digital platform
    • Provide name tags and basic event info
    • Direct attendees toward networking areas, refreshments, or restrooms
    • Answer general questions about the Chamber or the event
    • Ideal for volunteers who are:
    • Friendly, outgoing, and professional
    • Comfortable with early evenings
    • Organized and reliable — especially in a fast-paced setting

Dress Code
Volunteers should wear business casual attire — clean, comfortable, and professional.
Please wear comfortable shoes as you may be on your feet at the welcome table for an extended period.
