About this Opportunity
Who We Are
The Kennedy Center Food Pantry is part of the Feeding Our Neighbors program at Catholic Charities Community Services. We are committed to addressing food insecurity by providing nutritious food in a dignified and respectful environment. Our pantry operates using a client-choice model, allowing individuals and families to select the food items that best meet their needs.
We serve a diverse community of individuals and families each week and strive to create a welcoming, culturally responsive space. In addition to food distribution, we connect pantry neighbors to supportive services such as SNAP enrollment and community resources.
Volunteers play a vital role in helping us maintain an organized, efficient, and compassionate distribution process while upholding the dignity of all those we serve.
