Join Mindful Community Service during International Day of Older Adults

The MCS Advantage Homes Program and Mindful Community Service invite MCS employees to provide companionship, listening and support to lonely older adults through community service in different long-term care homes during the International Day of Older Adults next, October 1, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.   INST. HOGAR CASA ELIASIB , Patillas .

“From experience we have seen that older adults have so much to share, they just need someone to listen to them,” said Joel Guilloty-Pérez, Home Services Supervisor at MCS Advantage.

“Give the most valuable thing you have: your time”

 During these hours employees will be able to:

• Have lunch in the company of older adults

• Talk and listen to their anecdotes

• Assist with small feeding tasks

• Accompany with empathy

+ Paint a coloring book or play dominos
