Prepare Taxes for Low Income Families and Seniors

Project SCOUT provides free tax help to seniors, families, and individuals with earned income of $64,000 or less. Volunteer on our Tax Prep team in one of the following positions.

Tax Preparer – Complete and successfully certification in tax law training, including the use of electronic filing soware to provide free tax return preparation for eligible taxpayers both at sites and online mandatory. Training is provided by Project SCOUT.

Tax Coach – Provision of tax law assistance and guide taxpayers in preparing their own tax returns. Training is provided by Project SCOUT. Office and remote options available.

We need volunteers all year- not just during tax season!
