NMDP is proud to join the Juneteenth Music Festival—a powerful celebration of freedom, culture, and community. As we honor the legacy of Juneteenth, we’re also raising awareness about the urgent need for more diverse donors on the NMDP Registry, where a simple step can lead to a life-saving match.

📅 Date: June 20th
⏰ Time: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Shifts available in 2 hour blocks)

At our booth, festivalgoers will learn how they can become potential blood stem cell donors through a quick and easy cheek swab. We’ll share how joining the registry can give hope to patients—especially those from historically underserved communities—who are still waiting for a match.

• Share the mission and impact of NMDP with a focus on health equity
• Guide individuals through the process of joining the registry in a supportive, respectful way

For the thousands of people diagnosed every year with life-threatening blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma, a cure exists. For more than 30 years, NMDP has managed the world’s most diverse marrow registry—we work every day to save lives through transplants. NMDP works to educate people about the need for stem cell donors and help them join the registry. Increasing the diversity of the registry expands the range of tissue types available, helping more patients find the match they need.
