La Vergne X-Stream Squad: Stream Clean-up

Do you want to help keep our waterways clean? To help protect our drinking water and the animals that live in our creeks and streams?  If so, you would be a great fit for our X-Stream Squad in La Vergne, TN!
 
We get into the smaller, often forgotten about streams in La Vergne, to clean our waterways one section at a time.  We will be holding small monthly clean ups every second Saturday of warm weather months.  Weather you can make it to one clean up or you want to join us more often, we are happy to have you. 
 
We will provide snacks and safety gear.  We encourage volunteers to wear water proof shoes (water shoes, muck boots, or waders) because we get into the stream channel to clean! We also encourage volunteers to bring a reusable water bottle with them as well! 
 
We keep our group numbers small so we are able to carpool out to our various clean up sites!
