Norfolk Area Command - Senior Meal Delivery

We are expanding our feeding program to serve isolated seniors in local retirement homes. We will be delivering nutritious, well-balanced meals 3 days a week (2x per month) and will need volunteer support to deliver the meals.

When: 

• 2nd and 4th week of the month on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
• Starting on Tuesday, April 22nd
• Arrive at our Area Command Location at 3:30 pm to pick up the meals
• Deliver the meals to your assigned location between 3:45 and 4:30

🚗 How You Can Help:
Simply drive the meals to designated locations and make a senior’s day a little brighter! Your time and kindness will go a long way to help a neighbor in need.

Criteria:

• Must have own vehicle and be willing to transport prepared meals
• Vehicle must be able to hold at least 7 large catering bags (each bag will contain 10 to 12 meals)
• Volunteers will be come our Area Command location to pick up the meals (5525 Raby Rd, Norfolk, VA 23502) and will be given delivery instructions on where to take the meals
