UT - SUU: Tabling with the Thunderbirds!

GET IN THE GAME OF SAVING LIVES!!!

NMDP is coming to Southern Utah University! In addition to working with the football team and nursing students, we’re inviting community members to help us grow the NMDP Registry and spread awareness about the life-saving potential of blood stem cell donation! 

📍 Location: SUU Student Center (indoor and outdoor tables)
📅 Date: Thursday, April 16 - Friday, April 17
⏰ Time: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm each day — Shifts are divided into one-hour blocks to accommodate student schedules, and we encourage community members to join us for as much or as little as they're able!

This is your chance to connect with [students/community members] in a relaxed setting, all while helping to educate others about the simple yet powerful step of joining the NMDP Registry.

• Guide interested individuals through the quick and easy swab process to join the registry 

• Be part of a community-driven effort to save lives 

Whether you're new to outreach or already passionate about advocacy, this is a welcoming, supportive way to get involved and help patients in need of a cure🤩  
 
For the thousands of people diagnosed every year with life-threatening blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma, a cure exists. Over the past 30 years we have managed the most diverse marrow registry in the world. We work every day to save lives through transplants. 

NMDP works to educate people about the need for stem cell donors and help them join the registry. Adding more members who increase the ethnic diversity of the registry increases the variety of tissue types available, helping more patients find the match they need.
