Celebration of Giving: Lake County

The Celebration of Giving program connects families in need to gifts and supplies to bring the spirit of Christmas into their homes. Volunteers can participate by registering families, sorting/checking, and distributing gifts. Groups and individuals are welcome to engage at a variety of levels to ensure that children in Lake County receive a meaningful gift this Christmas season. 


BEFORE YOU REGISTER: Strict Age Requirements must be adhered to. Minimum age to volunteer is 12 years old. Ages 12 thru 15 require an adult to be present. Minimum age to volunteer alone is 16. 
 

Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes (i.e. sneakers) for warehouse safety for receiving, sorting, checking and distributing gifts. Volunteers will lift and move boxes upwards of 20 lbs. in weight.

Morning Shift: 9:30am - 12:30pm
Afternoon Shift: 1:00pm - 4:30pm

Dec 11 - Dec 13 (Gift Distribution)
Morning Shift: 8:45am - 11:45am
Midday Shift: 11:30am - 2:30pm 
Afternoon Shift: 2:15pm - 5:15pm

Dec 15 (Intake, Shopping, Gift Distribution)
Afternoon Shift: 12:30pm - 3:30pm

Dec 16 (Tear Down, Load and Unload)
Morning Shift: 9:00am - 11:0am
Afternoon Shift: 11:00am - 2:00pm
