CNY Canstruction 2026 - Organize Donations (Tear Down & Sorting)

Join us for Canstruction 2026 — a fun, feel-good volunteer opportunity with SUNY Oneonta and Community Cupboard of Edmeston! 🥫 Local students will be building creative, innovative “can structures” made entirely of canned goods, and it’s always amazing to see what they dream up.

Just like last year, Unadilla Valley CSD is going big — they’re building a structure using 1,500 empty Chobani cups and Chobani will be donating 125 cases of yogurt to support the cause! 

Organize Donations (Tear Down & Sorting)

👉 What: Assist with dismantling Canstruction displays, separating canned goods, and sorting/organizing items for participating food pantries.

📅 When: Sunday, April 26th 

⏰ Time: 1 - 3PM 

📍 Where: Southside Mall, 5006 NY-23, Oneonta - Main entrance near Applebee's

👥 Who: 10 volunteers
