Bamboo Forest Trailblazing & Design

Parker Learning Gardens is looking for volunteers to help in our bamboo forest! PLG's Bamboo Forest is an integral part of our education programs, as well as, several annual events, including our Haunted Bamboo Forest event around Halloween time. We also have several well established camping spots within the bamboo, and we are looking to expand the number of sites that we offer. The trails within our bamboo forest are growing fast and need to be trimmed and trained, or created. We also need help designing and creating some new camping spots within the bamboo forest for our Hipcamp. This is a fun and exciting opportunity to get involved, get creative, learn a potentially new skill (working with bamboo), and make a difference!
