About this Opportunity
NMDP is honored to take part in the upcoming Give Life event at UCHealth in Fort Collins, a day dedicated to giving back through blood, organ, and stem cell donation awareness. We're joining this powerful event to connect with the UCHealth community and share how joining the NMDP Registry can offer hope—and a second chance at life—to patients in need.
📍 Location: UCHealth Garth Englund Blood Center in Fort Collins
📅 Date: June 13th, 2025
⏰ Time: 11:00AM - 4:00PM
At our booth, attendees will learn how the NMDP Registry helps connect potential donors with patients battling blood cancers and other life-threatening diseases. We’ll walk them through the simple, non-invasive cheek swab process and answer any questions about what it means to be a donor.
🌟 Volunteers Will:
-
Greet and engage with UCHealth staff, visitors, and community members
-
Share NMDP’s mission and the impact of stem cell and marrow donation
-
Guide individuals through the process of joining the registry in a supportive, welcoming environment
This is a meaningful way to help UCHealth celebrate the gift of life—and to empower more people to become someone’s cure.
Join us in Fort Collins and be part of something life-changing.🤩
For the thousands of people diagnosed every year with life-threatening blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma, a cure exists. Over the past 30 years nmdp, has managed the most diverse marrow registry in the world. We work every day to save lives through transplants.
NMDP works to educate people about the need for stem cell donors and help them join the nmdp Registry. Adding more members who increase the ethnic diversity of the registry increases the variety of tissue types available, helping more patients find the match they need.
Come help us save lives!
