About this Opportunity
Westchester Parks Foundation is seeking volunteers to join its Natural Features Restoration Squad at Cranberry Lake Preserve. This group will be focused on graffiti concealment at the quarry. Volunteers will be trained in various painting strategies to cover the graffiti and restore this unique rock face to its former natural appearance.
All volunteers must attend an in-person training session before participating in this project. Once trained, volunteers' schedules can be flexible. Volunteers must be 18+ to register; young volunteers ages 14-17 can be added as part of an adult volunteer's team (the adult would register "As a Family, Group or Team" and add their youth volunteers to the team). Youth volunteers MUST attend the mandatory training alongside the adult they're volunteering with.
