About this Opportunity
Mayor Dyer's Beautify Fresno initiative is partnering with the San Joaquin River Conservancy to host a cleanup event on Saturday, July 26, 2025. The event will clean up the River West area along the San Joaquin River and nearby ponds at the Spano River Ranch in North Fresno. Volunteers will meet at River West no later than 7:45 a.m. for sign in and registration.
To get there from Fresno:
Exit Highway 41 North at Friant Road
Turn Right (northeast) onto Friant Road towards Woodward Park
Turn Left (west) onto Audubon Drive and continue past the park and across the overpass
Turn Right onto Del Mar Avenue and then make your first Left onto Riverview Drive. The access gate will be straight ahead.
Once on the access road, take a left when the road forks.
You are required to sign a Liability Waiver form prior to participating in this event. To speed up the check-in process, we encourage you to sign the release waiver electronically prior to the event by visiting https://appdev.fresno.gov/beautify/River. All participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign for them.
Beautify Fresno will provide trash bags, paper pickers, and gloves.
