About this Opportunity
Celebrate Earth Day with Westchester Parks Foundation! Enthusiastic and reliable volunteers are needed to support the staff in welcoming and organizing participants. Volunteer Site Leaders will help set up tables, check in volunteers, hand out supplies and tools, and guide participants to the work site.
Site Leaders won’t be leading alone—Westchester Parks Foundation staff will be on-site to oversee the event, provide instructions, and co-lead activities. This role helps create a smooth and fun experience for everyone involved. No prior leadership experience is required, but an interest in engaging with kids and families is a plus!
What to know:
- Wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and items that can get dirty
- Bring your own reusable water bottle
- This event will be held rain or shine. In extreme weather cases, please check your email during the 24 hours leading up to the event
