Holladay Park - Pick It Up, Portland!

Pick It Up, Portland! is a citywide day of action dedicated to making our neighborhoods cleaner, healthier, and more welcoming for everyone. On Thursday, August 6, volunteers will come together at five different locations across Portland—each one offering a chance to make a meaningful impact close to home.

This event kicks off at Holladay Park, where volunteers will spread out through the park and surrounding neighborhood to remove litter and protect this cherished community space. Join us to show your love for Portland and help create cleaner streets, safer parks, and a brighter environment for all who live, work, and play here. Let’s take care of the city we call home—together!

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: We will be meeting at the NW corner of Holladay Park, along Multnomah St and 11th Ave.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: SOLVE will provide trash grabbers, trash bags, work gloves, and high-vis vests.

Restrooms: No public restrooms are available

Parking: Street parking is available.

Transit: Trimet bus lines 6 and 8

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
