About this Opportunity
About Memories of Honor:
Memories of Honor is a Nashville-based national nonprofit who makes every day Memorial Day by honoring our fallen and recognizing their families 365 days per year. We create living memorials through athletic, educational, and community-focused events that bring people together in remembrance and gratitude.
The Role:
We’re looking for a passionate and creative individual to help amplify our voice across digital platforms and nurture a thriving community around our mission. If you live and breathe social media, know how to build genuine engagement, and love connecting with people online and offline—we’d love to work with you.
You will work hand-in-hand with our community partners and nationally recognized brands like PBR (Professional Bull Riders), GORUCK, Hunt Brothers Pizza, Nashville Predators, and the Texas Rangers—just to name a few.
What You Will Do:
- Design and execute content strategies for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other relevant platforms
- Schedule and manage posts, stories, and reels aligned with our brand and campaigns
- Monitor engagement, respond to DMs/comments, and keep the community active and connected
- Collaborate on digital campaigns that support partnerships, activations, and events
- Help grow our audience authentically while tracking what’s working
- Most of the work will be virtual, however occasionally we will need support in-person for community events or online gatherings to deepen our connections
What You Bring:
- A love for storytelling and a strong sense of voice/tone online
- Experience creating and managing content across multiple platforms
- A good eye for visuals (design tools like Canva or video editing is a bonus!)
- Comfort engaging with communities, followers, and partners
- Flexible availability—especially during key moments around events or announcements
Why This Matters:
This role is crucial to building awareness, energy, and connection around our work. Through powerful storytelling and engagement, you'll help comfort grieving families by showing them their loved ones are not forgotten. Your work will ensure the legacies of our fallen live on—not just for today, but for generations to come.
