Serve at Fun Community Summer Festivals

Be part of the fun and help make an impact at these amazing community events!

We’re looking for enthusiastic and dependable volunteers (ages 21 and up) to join us at two exciting celebrations this summer in Norfolk. Your time and energy will help us create safe, welcoming, and joyful spaces for our community to gather and celebrate culture, music, and freedom. 
 

Volunteers must be 21 or older.
Volunteers  will serve alcohol at both events for festival attendees.

Juneteenth in the Park

Date: Saturday, June 14, 2025
Location: Town Point Park in Norfolk
Volunteer Time Slots : 11:15 AM to 2:15PM, 2:00PM to 5:15PM, 5:00PM to 8:15PM, or 8:00PM to 10:15PM
Volunteers Needed per time slot: 12. 

Join us in honoring freedom, resilience, and community at this vibrant celebration filled with food, performances, and cultural connection.

Latin Music Festival

Date: Saturday, July 19, 2025
Location: Town Point Park in Norfolk
Volunteer Time Slots: 1:15 PM to 4:15PM, 4:00PM to 7:15PM, 7:00PM  to 11:15 PM
Volunteers Needed per time slot: 12. 

Help us bring the rhythm and flavor of Latin culture to life! Expect music, dancing, food, and fun and a chance to serve in a lively, meaningful environment.

Volunteer Roles Include:

• Event setup and breakdown

• Assisting guests and vendors

• Keeping our station clean and safe

• Supporting our community engagement team

Helpful Reminders:

• Bring water and sunscreen, especially on hot, sunny days.

• Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and shoes.

• Stay hydrated and take care of yourself while serving!

Mandatory Volunteer Training:
All volunteers must attend a brief virtual training session prior to the event. Details and links will be provided after you sign up.
