Community Health Fair in Newark

The New Community Health Fair is a free community-wide event that will provide free health screenings, free COVID vaccines, free food and refreshments for members of the public, as well as the residents of our skilled nursing facility, Extended Care. The volunteers will be asked to help New Community Extended Care staff bring patients outside to the event and ensure that they don't wander off. They may be asked to help distribute lunch to the residents as well. Please note that Extended Care requires masks to be worn in the building so volunteers should bring their own masks to wear.
 

The health fair will take place in the rear parking lot of the facility. Parking is available in a large lot on Camden Street.

• Waivers: All projects have non-negotiable age restrictions that are noted on the upper right side of each project description. If you meet the age restriction but are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian complete the required youth waiver and bring with you to the project. Adults attending the project can expedite the registration process by printing the adult waiver in advance, sign and bring with you.
