[SBV] Neighbor Experience Ambassadors - Feeding Pinellas

This skills-based role is overseen by the Neighbor Services team at Feeding Tampa Bay.

What to Expect
Neighbor Experience Ambassadors support the Neighbor Services & Food Programs teams by welcoming neighbors into our facilities to access a variety of services. Volunteers will utilize the Neighbor Services documentation and appointment system to ensure accurate records. They may also assist with neighbor follow ups, special events and additional documentation support as needed.

Neighbor Experience Ambassadors will offer a warm welcome and seamless check-in process for our neighbors as they come to Causeway Center & our Empowerment Centers for services.

Requirements
FTB takes our responsibility to neighbors very seriously. For anyone interested in volunteering in this role we ask that you complete a 1-2 hour annual training session with the Neighbor Services team before signing up for a shift. This training will provide an overview of Neighbor Services programming. After completing the training you will shadow a Neighbor Services team member for your first few shifts to ensure you understand our processes before working with neighbors independently. Previous experience with FTB/social services might adjust training/shadowing requirements.

Training/certifications must be completed prior to signing up for any of the shifts below.

Dress Code
Smart casual is professional but relaxed - a polished take on more casual pieces of clothing as well as casual or fun items paired back with smarter pieces. FTB branded gear is always encouraged!

Schedule & Location
Shifts will coincide with the current Market & Feeding Pinellas Food Pantry schedules. This sign up page is for shifts taking place at the Feeding Pinellas Empowerment Center.

Only volunteers trained and approved by the Neighbor Services team may sign up for these shifts.
