About this Opportunity
Adults ages 18-29 can invest in their communities and themselves through the lens of Jewish values.
Why: This unique cohort will address the immediate needs of our service partners as they respond to our community affected by the ongoing wildfires.
Who: Repair the World is building a national movement to catalyze one million acts of service and learning toward repairing the world.
What to Expect: This unique cohort will address the immediate needs of our service partners as they respond to our community affected by the ongoing wildfires.- This is a part-time service opportunity where Service Corps members will spend a minimum of 8 hours per week serving in capacity-building roles with local partners.
- Roles vary but include volunteer management, donation coordination, event planning, etc.
- The Wildfires Response Service Corps will be led by Repair the World staff, providing placement stewardship and cohort Jewish values learning.
- Corps members are eligible for up to $1,000 stipend (based on length of time committed) with additional economic access funding available.
- Be of Age 18-29
- 8 hours/wk (flexible)
This opportunity is managed by an L.A. Works partner, Repair the World.
