About this Opportunity
Help us brighten lives for area patients by providing a positive, rewarding experience for donors at Vitalant’s donation centers and one-day blood drives.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Welcome and check-in donors
- Explain the donation process and answer any non-medical/eligibility questions
- Manage donor flow when needed
- Provide courteous communication and assistance to donors and staff
- Assist with set up and help maintain cleanliness in Reception and Refreshment areas
- Report any possible adverse post-donation reactions to staff
Requirements:Â
- Those 18 and older must pass background check.
- Commit to 50 volunteer hours per year.
