Brief Organizational Description: UMFS is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children, teens, & families through foster care, adoption, education, mental health resources, community support, and therapeutic services. Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
Breakfast kits
Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
Purchase and assemble items for breakfast kits for our Charterhouse School kiddos.
Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
No training, background checks or qualifications or skills needed.
Time Commitment:
2 -3 hours
Other Information (if applicable):
Providing a nutritious breakfast to those who might otherwise go without, these kits are designed for a healthy start to the day. The breakfast kits are a brown paper lunch bag and we ask volunteers to decorate or add an inspiring quote or joke to each bag. The Charterhouse School students really enjoy seeing what is on their bag each morning
Breakfast kits are typically assembled with 1 of each of the items listed below and placed in a brown paper lunch bag. Volunteers typically decorate the lunch bags with stickers, words of encouragement, or a pretty hand-drawn picture. Feel free to be creative and inspiring!
