About this Opportunity

 

We are looking for an On-camera Spokesperson/Performer who will be responsible for representing DEFEND in various media formats, including video productions, live events, and social media campaigns. This role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively communicate our mission, engage with diverse audiences, and inspire action towards our cause. The ideal candidate will possess strong presentation skills, charisma, and a genuine passion for our work.If you’re passionate about online safety, social media innovation, or game-like experiences, we encourage you to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

Media Appearances:

  • Serve as the primary on-camera representative for the organization during interviews, promotional videos, public service announcements, and other media engagements.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling messages that resonate with target audiences while accurately reflecting the organization’s mission and values.

Content Creation:

  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop engaging content for various platforms including social media, websites, newsletters, and fundraising campaigns.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas that enhance visibility and outreach efforts.

Public Engagement:

  • Attend community events, workshops, and conferences as an ambassador of the organization.
  • Engage with stakeholders including donors, volunteers, beneficiaries, and the general public to foster relationships and promote awareness of our initiatives.

Training & Development:

  • Stay informed about current trends in non-profit advocacy and communication strategies.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance on-camera performance skills as well as knowledge about relevant issues related to the organization’s mission.

Feedback & Improvement:

  • Gather feedback from audiences and stakeholders regarding presentations and performances to continuously improve delivery methods.
  • Analyze engagement metrics from digital content to assess effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

  • MUST be 18 years and above.
  • Proven experience as an on-camera spokesperson or performer is an asset/Applications are also welcome with no experience but passion to learn.
  • Experience in non-profit sector preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for building rapport with diverse groups.
  • Comfortable working in front of a camera; previous acting or public speaking experience is advantageous.
  • Passionate about internet safety for children, youth and vulnerable people, with a deep understanding of related issues.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
