Summer 2025 Food Drive Captain

Food insecurity is a real issue, and the food pantries often become depleted during the summer. This July, VolALX is hosting its third annual Food4ALX food drive.
 
Dedicated Team Captains are needed to help us make this food drive a success.

As a Team Captain, you’ll:

• Attend a 30-minute orientation either Monday, June 23, 4:30 p.m., or Wednesday, June 25, 9 a.m. You will pick up your empty crates at this time.
• Be matched with one or two collection sites.
• Pick up food from the collection sites three to four times throughout the weeks of July 14, 21, and 28.
• Connect with your site(s), arrange pickup using the provided crates, and then deliver them to the warehouse for weighing.
• Make your last pick-up on Thursday, July 31.

• Have a valid driver's license and your own vehicle (with insurance)
• Be able to carry about 20 pounds of food using a crate
• Be available during the day.
