Chicken Protective Security Detail (PSD)

Hero Kids Foundation went over 64 days without a chicken loss - but now, the hawks have determined the morning PSD schedule and just wait for there to be no roving patrol!

We've not tried everything - but we've tried a lot.  Plastic owls, shiny disco balls, reflective tape, AC/DC's POWERAGE album, NO TRESPASSING signs (written in bird)...the only thing that works is YOU.

The person on the ground, with vigilance and awareness, keeps the hawks away.  These friendly little cluckers lead pretty simple lives, but they're just super tasty, not their fault, but if we keep the hawks away, they are now relaxed enough to start laying eggs for us.

Help us preserve our small flock and be our Chicken Protective Security Detail (PSD)!  During all daylight hours, you can be there, the protector of the flock, keeping the little chickens from being the next hawk carry-out!  

We used to have a "Chicken Sitting, Seriously," listing.  Thank you to all the fine folks that were a part of that!  Now, we need your help keeping them around and keeping up that egg production.
