Relief sitters needed. Help seniors and prevent caregiver burnout!

Heartland Hospice cares for terminally ill patients and families. We have many patients living at home with the help of loved ones. Volunteers are needed to offer breaks to caregivers. No hands-on care is required, just the willingness to be in the home with the patient so the caregiver can safely leave for a short break. Visits are limited to 4 hours or less and volunteers are provided with comprehensive training and support. Weekly relief sitting help prevent caregiver burnout and stress.
