Games Galore and More in Hanover

Games Galore and More is a team of volunteers who assist the staff of a long-term care senior facility with fun activities while engaging residents in meaningful and friendly conversation, board and card games and reading to the residents. This is a wonderful opportunity to brighten the life of someone who may normally not have the opportunity to connect with others outside of their families and the organization's staff. This is the perfect project for individuals, families, friends and loved ones. Volunteer today and let the games begin!

You are welcome to bring you own games or use the Wii gaming system to play the following games:

• Sports Resort

• Party
   

Also, calling all musicians who would like to perform informally for the residents.
 

NEED-TO-KNOW:

• Upon your arrival, please be sure to sign in at the front desk. ​Volunteers will receive a brief orientation upon arrival.

• ​Volunteer tasks include but are not limited to: engaging and conversing with guests, assisting in the transportation of residents to and from their rooms, and working with residents for a night filled packed of games.

Waivers: All projects have non-negotiable age restrictions that are noted on the upper right side of each project description. If you meet the age restriction but are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian complete the required youth waiver and bring with you to the project. Adults attending the project can expedite the registration process by printing the adult waiver in advance, sign and bring with you.
