About this Opportunity
Join Triangle Park Community Center in a special Candle Making workshop for the community. Volunteers will help bring a smile to neighbors with this fun activity.
Triangle Park Community Center, a ministry of Episcopal Jersey City works towards a community without violence and with hope in the Ferris- Triangle Park section of Greenville; a historically under-resourced area of Jersey City. They do this by feeding, clothing and bringing existent supportive and educational programs to their neighbors that would otherwise be financially or geographically inaccessible.
NEED-TO-KNOW

Volunteers will help set up chairs, tables, tents, etc. Also help with greeting guests and assist guests with candle making materials. Additionally they will be serving brunch then will clean up and breakdown the chairs, table and tents.

Please dress casually. There will be time to sit in between tasks

There is street parking. Please enter through the front entrance. This is a rain or shine event.
Your willingness to serve with a bright smile and a sense of humor is what makes volunteering all the more easier.

Waivers: All projects have non-negotiable age restrictions that are noted on the upper right side of each project description. If you meet the age restriction but are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian complete the required youth waiver and bring with you to the project. Adults attending the project can expedite the registration process by printing the adult waiver in advance, sign and bring with you.
