2025 Summer Reading Buddies - Ossining

Help prevent children from losing their literacy skills over the summer by becoming a Volunteer Summer Reading Buddy. Summer Reading Buddies are provided with books and worksheets to work one-on-one or in small groups with children in first through fifth grade. This short-term, focused initiative offers an opportunity to make a difference in a child's reading journey during the summer months.

Summer Reading Buddies can choose their level of commitment—from a few hours to once a week to the full program. This is an in-person project that will run on Fridays from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. from July 11 to August 1.
