Join the American Red Cross as a Blood Donor Ambassador!

Why: You play a crucial role in the Red Cross mission. With your help, we can succeed in providing lifesaving blood to cancer and transplant patients, premature babies, accident victims and others who need blood.

Who: The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers, guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.

What to Expect: The Role of Blood Donor Ambassador is to provide excellent and enthusiastic customer service and enhance the donor experience. Each blood donor deserves to be treated as an honored guest!

• Engage with donors to make the donation experience fulfilling and set the stage for a long-term commitment to regular blood donations.
• Locations and times are variable and will work with most schedules. We have opportunities available 7 days per week.

What's Required: 
Time Commitment:

• One 6-hour shift per month for 6 months.
  • You may participate in more than one shift per month if you wish.

Required Training:

• 1-hour training required prior to first shift

Other Requirements

• Minimum 16 years of age
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide
• customer service care
• Must pass background check
