Duke of Edinburgh Volunteering

As part of the The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, volunteering with Our Big Kitchen is a meaningful way to give back to the community while working towards your Award requirements.

Participants will support a range of kitchen activities such as food preparation, sorting ingredients, packaging meals, and light cleaning. Each task plays an important role in helping us provide meals and support to those in need.

Duke of Ed volunteering sessions are structured and time-bound, typically running within allocated hours agreed for the program. If additional hours are required, these may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Please note:

• This opportunity is designed for participants age under 18
• Volunteers must follow all safety and food handling guidelines
• Required attire includes closed shoes, long pants, and covered shoulders
